Michelle returns to Texas after a long absence. She brings with her the knowledge and experience gained as a trial attorney with the Department of Treasury, Office of Chief Counsel – IRS, as well as her time spent as an attorney in private practice and as a Financial Advisor with Morgan Stanley.
Admitted to the bars of Texas, Colorado, and Virginia, Michelle joined BAJB as Of Counsel in the fall of 2022. She practices civil litigation with a primary emphasis on Trusts, Estate Planning & Administration, Probate, and Tax Controversy. Michelle works closely with clients to achieve estate & wealth preservation plans tailored to their personal circumstances and goals, while reducing unnecessary expense, taxes, administrative burdens and litigation risks. She also works closely with the client’s team of professional advisors, including accountants and financial advisors to develop planning strategies and solutions that are comprehensive and coordinated.
Outside of the law, Michelle enjoys spending time with her family and friends, long walks with her German Shepherd, historic preservation, swimming, golf and travel.
