Profile:
James Brenner is a native Austinite, born and raised in the Texas’ capital city. After growing up around the law, he moved from Austin to San Antonio to attend The University of Texas at San Antonio, where he lived for nearly a decade. He then decided to broaden his horizons by going to Law School in Maine, at The University of Maine School of Law. Following law school, he decided to come back to Austin and work with the litigation team at Burns Anderson Jury and Brenner. As part of BAJB’s Litigation Team, James is active in cases involving commercial litigation, personal injury civil defense, workers’ compensation judicial review, and also occasionally assists in probate matters.
Outside of his legal work and in his free time, James is a lifelong musician and collector of guitars and musical equipment. He is also an avid sports fan. You can find him on most Saturdays in the fall attending The University of Texas football games after a morning of watching Premier League soccer matches. James is also an adventure seeker, who spends as much time in the winter as he can get away with skiing down the side of a mountain and in the summers likes to scuba dive, hike, and go on motorcycle trips whenever he has the opportunity.
