A graduate of Baylor Law School in 1999, Nick has focused on workers’ compensation law since 2001; performing an average of 75 or more Contested Case Hearings per year, and a virtual incalculable number of Benefit Review Conferences annually.
Having represented injured workers as a member of claimants’ bar from 2001 through 2013, he brings both perspective and an understanding of the legal strategies utilized by injured workers to BAJB, and our clients.
Nick is based out of a Waco satellite location and primarily handles a docket of central and north Texas, bringing accessibility and reduced travel expenses to our clients. An ancillary benefit of this geographic focus is a familiarity and professional relationship with Division personnel at these field offices.
Born in California before moving to New Mexico briefly, Nick was admitted to the State Bar of Texas in 1999. He is also licensed before the Court of Appeals for Veterans Affairs and is a member of the Workers’ Compensation Law Section.
