Lauren, a born and raised Texan, attended the University of Texas, but headed to the “Big Apple” for law school. While attending New York Law School, she was a member of the Law Review and an associate with the Institute for Information Law and Policy. Additionally she clerked in both Brooklyn, Kings County Civil Court and the Bronx County Family Court. While New York was exciting, Texas was always home, and Lauren was happy to return to Austin to work with Burns Anderson Jury & Brenner. Lauren clerked the summer of 2011 for BAJB, and after passing the Texas bar joined the BAJB team in November 2012. Primarily working in workers’ compensation and railroad law, Lauren has enjoyed coming home to Texas to practice law.
