Guardianship
Estate planning is an important component to you and your family's
financial well-being, one that can maximize your influence over
your future. We want to help make this potentially confusing and
frustrating process as simple as possible.
BAJB is committed to understanding your needs, concerns and issues
with estate planning matters. We will find the process and tools
that will be most comfortable to you and best meet your estate
planning goals. With our expertise and assistance, you will have
a personalized estate plan that provides for your loved ones.
Steps on Getting Started
- Make an appointment so we can
learn more about you, your family, and your particular situation,
and you can learn more about the best ways to meet your unique
needs and goals. There is no charge for the initial consultation.
- Think about what you own, to whom you want
to leave your assets, and to whom you want to assign responsibilities
such as your executor and trustee.
- If you would like to get started on the process before
your appointment, review the forms by clicking on the
links to the right (requires Adobe Acrobat Reader), and begin
gathering information: 1) major assets and debts with their
approximate values; 2) family members with phone numbers and
addresses; and 3) documentation on any businesses you own, trusts
that you are a beneficiary of, or any other documents that might
impose requirements to assigning your assets.
- Bring completed forms or any gathered information
to your appointment.
