Profile:

Growing up watching my father, Bob Burleson, successfully defend jury trials, I never doubted my career path. Upon graduating Baylor School of Law at 22 and ultimately associating with the gentlemen partners of Wilson, Grosenheider and Burns, mentor and friend, Joe Anderson, put me on the road before I could legally rent a car. I joined Burns Anderson Jury & Brenner, LLP in 1997 as an associate. Ultimately, in 2006, I was named its first female partner–a demographic that changed in 2015 with the addition of partner Anna Ansari.

Like Dad and my partners, I have worn hard hats, hair nets and slickers at commercial meat/poultry plants, respirators, fire suits and other protective gear; watched surgeries without fainting, and jumped out of an airplane in order to learn “how things work”. Based in Austin, Burns Anderson Jury & Brenner attorneys will fly anywhere, in Texas and beyond. I truly enjoy my job.
